Shipping and packaging

National and international shipments

Throughout the national territory, our shipments are entrusted to the express courier GLS (General Logistics Systems Italy S.p.A.).

Shipments to EU countries are entrusted to the courier DHL (Deutsche Post DHL Group). Please see the specific section for shipments to countries in Europe.

Shipments to the USA are entrusted to the courier UPS (United Parcel Service). Please see the specific section for shipments to countries in Europe and the U.S.A. below.

Your orders will be delivered within 2-3 working days on average. Orders are always followed by an e-mail indicating the precise day of delivery and the courier tracking number. Deliveries are made on working days from Monday to Friday during office hours from 8.30am to 6pm (usually in the morning) and, on request, also on Saturday, (if the area is covered for this service). If preferred, the customer can collect batches at the premises of the nearest GLS courier, where they are held for collection if explicitly requested.
To facilitate delivery, please give an address where someone is always present (e.g. an entrusted shop), or when ordering write the preferred time in the appropriate "notes" space, or request delivery by appointment or with prior notification by telephone. In this way, storage in the warehouse can be avoided, which leads to very high extra costs.

Packaging and acceptance

We only use polystyrene packaging (wine racks), which are reliable and extremely secure.
Please remember to always check the number and condition of parcels. Any complaint must be made to the courier immediately, accepting the goods with "reserve" and writing the type of damage found on the courier's delivery note. Then you need to report the incident to us as soon as possible so that we can proceed with checks. Once the damage, or not, has been assessed, the costs of replacement and a new delivery will be totally at our expense.
In any case, even if the packaging is intact, the goods must always be checked within 10 days of receipt.

Shipments to countries in Europe, United Kingdom, U.S.A. and Canada

We ship and deliver our products throughout Europe and thanks to an exclusive service agreement we have made with the society U.B.S. srl, also to the U.S.A. and CANADA


For deliveries in Europe, we use the lorry service DHL ECONOMY EXPRESS.

FOR UK:
Taxes and customs duties are not included.

Air shipping and deliveries by courier FedEx, UPS or DHL.
The delivery times for Europe, United Kingdom, U.S.A. and CANADA are established (working days) as follows:

U.S.A.: delivery in 10/15 days.
Shipping costs to the U.S.A. are as follows:

CANADA: delivery in 7/10 days.
Taxes and customs duties are not included. Shipping costs to the Canada are as follows:

This service includes all taxes and customs clearance (only for US shipments).

We do not ship to the following destinations USA:
Virgin Island
Porto Rico
Alaska
Hawaii

You can take advantage of the basket quote option by adding the products for purchase and selecting the destination so that the total cost will be calculated.

You can also send wine to a different country to the one of residence. For example, a French citizen may purchase wine from our online wine shop, specifying that the delivery must be made to the United Kingdom, by simply using the convenient shipping costs calculation available in the basket.

Some important notes for shipments towards certain destinations:
The UNITED KINGDOM includes England, Wales and Scotland.
UK ISLANDS includes all the islands belonging to the United Kingdom.
IRELAND does not include Northern Ireland, for which specific charges are in force.
It is mandatory to indicate a telephone number with the shipping address to avoid storage at the courier's premises and any extra shipping costs. The high quality of our packaging and the great care taken during packaging guarantee the integrity of products also for shipments to destinations further afield.

Requests for shipments to NON-EEC countries will be assessed each time depending on the feasibility and the destination.
