Begali The company is family owned. The vineyards, about ten hectares, scattered among the hills and foothills area, are located in a small village called "Cengia", named after the rocks that dot the hill overlooking the village. "Cengia" is located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, at the foot of the hill of Castelrotto, in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano - Verona. The production is very accurate in all its phases; from work in the countryside than in the cellar, to allow the search for continuous quality improvement. This wine is more exacting and laborious than the Valpolicella classico and has a higher alcohol content too. We only release this wine after it has undergone at least one year maturation in large wooden wood and then in bottles. This wine is a "ripasso".
