Feudi di San Gregorio LACRYMA CHRISTI Rosso del Vesuvio DOC 2020

Legend has it that the origin of the vines on Vesuvius is due to the tears of Jesus. In a surprising setting, on the slopes of one of the largest volcanoes in Europe, the best native red berried varieties of Campania give life to Lacryma Christi. Feudi di San Gregorio produces this red version with Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes through a vinification and a short aging in steel.

Tasting notes: Ruby red color. The nose expresses evident notes of freshly picked red fruit combined with floral sensations. In the mouth there is freshness and softness, with a pleasant aftertaste of fresh berries and a sweet tannin.
Vinification: 4-5 months in steel vats.
Alcohol content: 13%
Food pairings:  To be combined with simple meat dishes, for example grilled.
