Alessandro Speri, founder and owner of this young and dynamic winery, belongs to a long and noble tradition of winemaking producers. In Italy, the family name is 'synonymous with award-winning wines and success since 1876. In the obsessive search for the perfect vineyard he has crossed the Atlantic and 'established in a small village on the slopes of the Andes, called La Consulta. Origin area: Uco Valley, Mendoza (Argentina)
Altitude: 3.600 feet (above sea level)
Harvest: Hand-picked using baskets of 35 pounds each.
Fermentation: At a low temperature of 53ºF with selected yeast.
Aging: Into steal tanks at controlled temperature. Bâtonnage “sur lie”. Three months in the bottle.
Tasting notes: Crystalline yellow color. Intense aromas which you could see involve at the nose such as citrus fruits, orange blossoms and jasmine. Harmonious with hints of mineral on the palate and fine acidity. Persistent and elegant at the end.
Food pairing: Suitable accompanying plates with “carpaccio” and oriental food. Ideal with dishes based on prawns and spider crab.
