A top Amarone cru, the maximum expression of one of the finest terroir sites of Valpolicella Classica. The deep, friable and well drained volcanic soil that characterises the historic vineyard of its production confers the soft tannins and hints of almonds and minerals that make it special. An elegant wine with great intensity and balance. These wines are the product of the love and artisan care that the Boscaini family have always lavished on the art of winemaking and they are kept with the proper respect due to precious objects. These are valuable wines for the completion of important cellar collections and for tasting and sharing with close friends. Their gift is intense feelings of joy and emotion. Campolongo di Torbe is Masi’s elegant cru version of Amarone, with smooth almond aromas, great intensity and balance. The grapes come from the eponymous vineyard, which has been noted for its quality since the XII century. Grapes are left to dry naturally in traditional drying lofts during the cold winter months.

Look: opaque ruby red.
Nose: intense and complex aromas of baked fruit and cinnamon.
Palate: rich, full-bodied and well-balanced, with ripe cherry flavours (sweet and marasca), baked plums and bitter almonds.
food pairing
Excellent as an after-dinner wine, or to go with red meat, game, quails and richlyflavoured dishes. Very good with well-aged cheeses, such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola.
