Grapes: 100% Garganega
Vinification and maturation: The clusters undergo a brief natural semi-drying on the vine, and are then gently pressed and the juice gravity-settled for 24-48 hours, followed by fermentation. The wine matures in steel for some 12 months.
Appearance: Gold-tinged deep straw-yellow.
Bouquet: Elegant notes of pear, Stark apple, quince, fresh almond, and sage, with acacia blossom.
Palate: Opens to a lovely crispness and lengthy structure. On the finish, ripe fruit and blossoms re-appear, concluding with a delicious touch of bitterish almond.
Alcohol: 13% by vol.
