The microclimate is typical of this area of Southern Tuscany: a hot and dry climate, with little rainfall in the summer and temperate breezes throughout the year from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea. The balanced sunlight, the soft rolling hills and the volcanic soil rich in tuff stone, represent the main characteristics of the quality of this area perfect from which to obtain very good grapes, and therefore excellent wines. The TOMMASI Estate is located in Pitigliano in the heart of Maremma Toscana ( South Tuscany ). Maturation: 6 months in Slavonian oaks
Tasting notes: Intense bouquet of mature red berries fruits. Pleasing floral notes, including the violet. Well-balanced with good structure and nice length with fruity flavours. The palate is dry with good acidity and freshness. Full-bodied, the tannins are well balanced. Overall harmonic and persistent taste, nice and easy to drink
