Chardonnay grapes contain a vast array of aromatic elements and when cultivated in the picturesque zone south of Lake Garda this variety produces spectacular results.
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.
Geographical location: Southern shores of Garda lake, in Peschiera del Garda - Verona. South exposed.
Type of soil: Cretaceous-clay base.
Vinification: Fermented for 15-20 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C.
Aged: for 4-5 months in stainless steel tanks then for a further 2-3 months in the bottle before being released on the market.
Colour: Straw-yellow with greenish highlights.
Nose: Delicious and elegant, it has the characteristic notes of the vine, with light sensations of hazelnut and gunflint.
Palate: Typical, velvety, well-rounded, with pleasant acidity, reaffirming the fruity overtones and truly delightful, very persistent hazelnut finish.
Gastronomical combinations: The ideal accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, particularly freshwater fish.
Serving temperature: Fresh, at 10/12°C.
