This jewel in the crown of our range is obtained 100 per cent from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown in Podere Massoni, a historic vineyard belonging to the estate whose location produces levels of quality and emotion that make this wine unique.
Grape variety: 100% Trebbiano di Lugana.
Geographical location: The 20 ha vineyard is located in S. Cristina estate, in Peschiera del Garda - Verona, southern shores of Garda lake. South exposed.
Type of soil: Chalky-clay.
Vinification: Temperature-controlled (16-18 degrees) fermentation for 15-20 days in stainless steel tanks.- Ageing: 4-5 months in stainless steel tanks followed by 2-3 months in the bottle before release on the market.
Colour: Straw-coloured and lustrous with clear hints of pale green.
Nose: All-round fresh and fruity fragrance, with sensations of fruit (particularly grape and peach) and tropical fruits (pineapple, citron and grapefruit).
Palate: Dry, fresh, well-structured body, balanced with a slightly vanillaed note and remarkable softness at the end.
Gastronomical combinations: Goes well with a wide range of dishes, particularly fresh-water fish.
Serving temperature: At 10/12°C.
