Maculan wines

Maculan, Family Winemakers in Breganze. The quality of a great wine results from a combination of natural factors and human skills. In Breganze we have both the right environment as well as the necessary craftsmanship to produce excellent wines. For three generations the Maculan family has been selecting and vinifying the best grapes in Breganze, an enchanting village at the foot of the Asiago high plains, where the extremely mild climate favors the cultivation of vines and olive trees. The hills of Breganze provide an idea soil for grape varieties such as Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, tai and Vespaiolo and the production of very high quality wines. The winery was founded in 1947 thanks to Giovanni Maculan’s commitment and dedication, and then handed down to Fausto Maculan’s care. With passion and determination, he led the winery to what it is today. In 2007 his daughters Angel a and Maria Vittoria enthusiastically joined their father in managing the estate. The Maculan estate consists of 40 hectars dedicated to vines and olive trees, and manages the cultivation of thirty selected growers. The winery is located in the historical centre of Breganze, where ancient traditions and state-of-the-art technology merge. This enables the Maculan family to produce beautiful wines, appreciates throughout the world.
